Don Breshears
Don came to Freedom Broadcast Group in the Fall of 2024. His relationship with owner, John Brown, extends back to 2010, as the two have worked together on many projects over the years. Don brings over 25 years of broadcast production experience to the company, as both a two-time Emmy award winning technical manager and broadcast executive in live sports and entertainment, in addition to holding V-Suite positions and developing critical company growth strategies and policies.
Having worked on many high-profile events over his career, Don has been a part of five Olympic Games, four of them for NBC as venue technical manager. He worked as technical manager for Thursday Night Football for the NFL Network, PGA, LPGA, and Champions Tour golf for NBC/Golf Channel, LIV Golf, the NWSL, UFC, NCAA college football & basketball, FELD Motorsports, USA Track & Field, as well as the Academy Awards, GRAMMY Awards, and Golden Globes for E! Entertainment and Global Television Canada.
Don brings a wealth of broadcast experience and knowledge to the company, focusing on identifying strategic growth opportunities, improved marketing, and brand awareness, as well as operational efficiencies. In addition, he continues to provide his technical planning and management skills for the company’s remote productions.
