Freedom Broadcast Group has a production truck to fit just about every client need. Choose from one of our five full-production or hybrid mobile units that matches the demands of your production. Our mid-sized fleet of trucks offer the power of a larger production unit in a smaller footprint, without compromising production quality.

Each of our mobile production units have the capabilities of handling anywhere from 8-12 CCU cameras and up to three EVS Via replay systems, as well as graphics and a score bug unit. In addition, Freedom Broadcast Group has an inventory of additional equipment, such as field & display monitors, POV and PTZ cameras, studio build-up kits, booth kits, terminal and conversion gear, fiber infrastructure, lighting and audio.

If you are looking to streamline your production budget without compromising quality, a Remote Integration Model or REMI broadcast may be best suited for you. This is a broadcast workflow where the video and audio content are captured live from an on-site location, such as a stadium or arena, while the full production takes place in a designated production control room (PCR) and/or studio.

Our REMI Workflow Model

A REMI workflow model is often used when the production budget does not allow for the travel and housing of the entire production team to the on-site location. As a smaller video and acquisition team is needed onsite, so is the size of the production mobile unit. With many venues around the country becoming better-equipped with broadband connections, many clients have turned their attention to public or private IP network services to transmit workflow signals back to a designated PCR for full packaging.

Conveniently located in the Tri-State area, just minutes from downtown Manhattan, the Freedom Broadcast Group facility contains four production control rooms (PCR’s), a full Master Control, as well as announce rooms and flex space for all REMI production needs, including both national and regional broadcasts.

Our location allows us better access to a wide range of technical and production crew with just a short commute to our facilities. Many of our PCR production staff, including; TD’s, Audio Mixers, EVS/Replay Ops, Graphics and Score Bug operators work on a regular basis for Freedom Broadcast Group covering multiple clients.

Freedom Broadcast Group got its start back in 2013, with one satellite truck, providing transmission services in the Midwest and East Coast for women’s professional soccer. As the company has grown, it has added additional uplink units to its fleet, as both hybrid production units and smaller stand-alone satellite trucks. Freedom Broadcast Group is capable of providing either C-Band or Ku-Band transmissions, depending on your satellite transmission requirements.

Need a satellite backhaul for your event? Freedom Production Group has both full satellite uplink and hybrid uplink units to fit your need. We can handle both C and Ku-Band transmissions for any sports, corporate, news or entertainment backhaul. Many of our engineering staff began their careers as uplink engineers, so you can rest-assured your transmission backhaul is in good hands. If you are also in need of satellite space, we can handle your space needs booking as well.

In addition to satellite transmission, Freedom Broadcast Group can use BitFire and Haivision encoders/decoders for both primary and backup IP content transport. Fiber transmissions is also an option.

For the full production packaging experience, Freedom Broadcast Group can provide our clients with a full complement of below-the-line production crew for either the remote location and/or our PCR facilities as part of our overall client services package, should you have this requirement. We source our talented crew from several well-respected sources around the country, taking this responsibility off the client’s plate, so they may focus on content production.

In addition to below-the-line crew, Freedom Broadcast Group can provide its clients with Technical Managers and Production Managers to help oversee and lead the onsite workload, should the need arise. Some of our technical managers work at the company full-time can be made available, based on our overall schedule and demand. Since we have significant experience as a full content production company or “packager,” our technical and production managers are well-versed on dealing with crew needs, production schedules, travel bookings, and working with venue management.
